About the programme
Utbildningen vänder sig till personer med intresse av att arbeta med historia genom forskning och skrivande men också andra former av kunskapsuppbyggnad och förmedling av historisk kunskap, till exempel vid museer, inom media eller genom populärvetenskap.
Programmet omfattar sex terminer heltidsstudier. Av dessa utgörs fyra terminer av obligatoriska kurser i historia: Historia I, Historia II, Kandidatkurs i historia och Historievetenskaplig tillämpningskurs. Den sistnämnda kursen, som avslutar programmet, innehåller förutom två teoretiska kurser tio veckor handledd praktik.
Resterande 60 hp består av två terminers studier inom ett eller två andra ämnen inom humanistisk fakultet, alternativt en eller två terminers utlandsstudier inom något humanistiskt ämne.
