About the programme

Kandidatprogrammet i matematisk ekonomi och statistik omfattar kurser i matematik, matematisk statistik, ekonomi och datalogi. Utbildningen omfattar tre års heltidsstudier och ger en bred bas i matematiska ämnen med inriktning mot ekonomiska och statistiska tillämpningar. Studierna inleds med ett gemensamt basblock motsvarande fyra heltidsterminer. Därefter väljs studiegång mot matematik (leder till kandidatexamen i matematik) eller matematisk statistik (leder till kandidatexamen i matematisk statistik). Utbildningen avslutas med att förvärvade kunskaper och färdigheter tillämpas i ett självständigt arbete om 15 högskolepoäng i matematik eller matematisk statistik.
