About the programme

Programmet ger dig den kompetens som behövs för uppdrag som utredare och ledare. Du får en bred statsvetenskaplig allmänbildning, fördjupade kunskaper om offentlig förvaltning, god analytisk kompetens och förmåga att självständigt utföra kvalificerade uppgifter - egenskaper som starkt efterfrågas av arbetsgivare. Samtidigt kommer utbildningens praktik och praktikorienterade inslag hjälpa dig att utveckla de kontakter och kunskaper du behöver för att ta steget in på arbetsmarknaden.

Programmet har statskunskap som huvudämne men du läser även kurser med fokus på förvaltningsekonomi och rättsvetenskap. I statskunskap utvecklar du gradvis fördjupade insikter och kunskaper om politik och förvaltning, i Sverige och internationellt, samt metoder för samhällsvetenskaplig analys. Till detta läggs två terminer av kurser som behandlar ledarskap och styrning, förvaltningsekonomi, offentlig rätt och etik. Inom ramen för dessa ges du möjligheter att utveckla professionella färdigheter, förmågor och förhållningssätt. En termin kan användas till praktik alternativt valfria kurser och ger möjlighet till att profilera din utbildning.
